We know that visiting a new place can be a little scary, so we want to do everything to ease your concerns before you even pull into the parking lot. Below you will find information about where we're located, where to park, handicapped accessibility, what our services are like, child care, and what people wear.
Where We're Located
We are located at 401 N. 2nd Avenue, Hopewell, which is at the corner of Randolph Road (Route 10) and 2nd Avenue, just 2 blocks east of John Randolph Medical Center.
Where to Park & Handicapped Accessibility
Parking is available in our lots beside the church, across the street from the church, and also at the back of the church near Randolph Road.
Our Sunday Worship Services
8:45 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. - The Gathering
This service is held in the downstairs Fellowship Hall and is casual and contemporary, with music
led by our Praise Team accompanied by keyboards and guitars. A Children's
Sermon is included in the worship experience when all the children
are invited to come to the front to hear a special message designed for them.
Both the First Praise Service and Traditional Worship Service include
the same inspirational sermon by our pastor.
9:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. - Sunday School
Classes are available for all ages. See a listing of classes here.
11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon - Traditional Worship
This service offers a traditional and more formal worship experience, with music led by the sanctuary choir accompanied by the organ and piano.
Children's Worship is offered during both Sunday morning worship services (8:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.) for grades 1 - 4 in Room 107 in our WEE School wing/Pre-School Department of our Family Life Center (near the sliding glass doors).

Nursery & Child Care
The Nursery & Childcare Ministry is designed
to care for and help young children and their families who attend the various
services and events at our church. Through this ministry, young children are exposed to their first experiences in
a church environment through compassionate nurturing and early learning
opportunities. Providing a safe and loving environment for their children also facilitates the
attendance and engagement of parents during our church services.
Here at FBC, we offer childcare during our 8:45 a.m. worship service as well as for most special events.
Our Nursery & Child Care Ministry facilities are located in the
Pre-school Department of the Family Life Center (near the sliding glass doors).
A Note about Safety All of our paid nursery workers, Sunday morning "Guardian Angel" volunteers, and children's Sunday School teachers/assistants, as well as any church member who works with any of our children and youth under 18 years of age, must annually participate in our Child Protection Policy training.
What to Wear
While our 8:45 a.m. praise service is casual and our 11:00 a.m. service is more traditional, you will see everything from suits and ties to jeans and polos to shorts and t-shirts at both services. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. We gather together to worship and fellowship, and we can do that no matter what you're wearing.
